When the founders were trying to name the practice, they searched for a word that would encompass their vision.  In medicine, most words are from Latin.  So, that’s where they started.  They found that “Alium” in Latin means “DIFFERENT.” It fit and that is how we got our name.

Alium understands that in today’s busy world, sometimes we can run late.  However, we respect everyone’s time.  If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will have a shortened visit.  If you are more than 20 minutes late, you will be rescheduled to another available time.

As a holistic office trying to help with the opioid epidemic, we look to use other all other options to help treat pain and mood disorders. Therefore, we avoid prescribing controlled substances to treat these issues.

If there is an emergency, we will move you to the front of the line.

All requests must be in writing and received in the office.  We will expedite all requests as fast as possible.

Insurance usually comes with an amount that you the patient are responsible to pay before insurance starts to pay.
