Meet The Team
Miles Howard
Director of OBGYN Services
Dr. Howard is an ob-gyn who practices in Goodyear and Phoenix.
He is an obstetrician-gynecologist with more than 30 years of experience and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Howard is a Los Angeles native who spent most of his childhood in Hawaii and graduated from the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii. He then relocated to Arizona, completing his obstetrics and gynecology residency and internship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix. After finishing his residency, Dr. Howard began practicing at Phoenix Indian Medical Center before going into private practice at Maryvale Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix. He is committed to providing exceptional obstetric and gynecologic care to all his patients.
Dr. Howard is highly experienced in laparoscopic, urologic, and endometrial ablation procedures, as well as bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.
Dr. Howard continues to expand his educational horizons whenever possible to stay up to date on the latest advancements in medical technology. He has completed da Vinci® Surgical System training to perform minimally invasive robot-assisted procedures.
Outside of the office, Dr. Howard enjoys spending time with his wife and three children at their home in Buckeye, Arizona, and coaching his son’s basketball team.
Sara Schrag
Director of Psychiatric Services
Sara is a psychiatric nurse practitioner that has worked with a wide variety of psychiatric and substance use disorders. She is passionate about providing high quality care in a supportive, non-judgmental environment, and seeks to end the stigma surrounding psychiatric and substance use disorders.

Ashley Kirby
Director of Mental Health Services
Dr. Kirby is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in crisis management and correctional psychology. She treats a wide variety of mental health problems, including depression, suicidality, psychosis and anxiety. Dr. Kirby’s approaches may include, but not limited to the following: CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and functional behavioral analysis. Dr. Kirby is accepting new patients, as well as provides clinical supervision and oversight to Alium’s mental health clinicians.

Julie
Office Manager
Julie majored in human resources at Columbia College (Columbia, MO) and has over 25 years’ experience in healthcare, managing primary care and specialty clinics in Missouri and now Arizona. Julie was born in the upper peninsula of Michigan and lived in Illinois and Missouri before settling in Arizona. Julie is passionate about providing excellent customer service and taking care of the patient first. Julie is always looking to make things better and is very much an out-of-the-box thinker. She loves Alium Health and Wellness because it is a welcoming environment that cares about the patients and helps women in many areas of their health and wellness. Julie loves to sew and create in her down time and very much enjoys spending time with her 3 young grandchildren, her family and friends.
